Dear Eric
I am from Cape Town, South Africa and I conduct the Stellenbosch University Choir.
We will participate in the World Choir Games in China in July 2010. I would love to present your a cappella transcription of "Sleep, my Child" in the competition.
Where / how can I buy the sheet music for this?
Warm regards
Andre van der Merwe

Eric Whitacre Congratulations to Jason Robert Brown and the entire cast of the Los Angeles production of "Parade." What an INCREDIBLE show!

Dagny Fitzwater
I met Eric back in 1995 when he came to my school in Fairfax, VA and showed my band and I how to play "Ghost Train" for our concert in Chicago. Ever since hearing/playing this song, I fell in love with his music. And him telling his story of how he learned how to play music hit home.
It is nice to see that he has composed more and I can't wait to hear it all!

Drew Does anybody know whether or not there is a TTBB version of "Sleep"? I'd love to do it with my men's chorus, but our tenors would explode.

Rosalee Ann Bailey Is there a set publication date for Nox? I am anxiously waiting for its release

Ernest amazing!

Dear Mr. Whitacre,
Have you ever tried writing your own poetry, and, if so, have you ever tried writing music to it? I am (hopefully)an aspiring composer and conductor, and I love the way you write music. I also write poetry and I'm currently thinking of taking a series of four poems I'm writing and composing music for ...them in SATB divisi form. My ultimate goal is to make them a major work where each of the four movements could be performed separately. Thanks for your time! P.S.-I'm also a huge fan of your works. I especially love Sleep and Leonardo. Thanks again!Read More
