Amy Potozkin To say that Esalen changed my life would be an understatement. I came to Esalen for the first time in 1991. The sheer beauty of the place, the educational/transformational quality of the workshop, the people, the great food, etc., led me to return time and time again. I felt safe and at home as a single woman going... to Esalen for many years. I wound up meeting my husband at Esalen in a workshop in July 2002. We are happily married and we return to Esalen for our honeymoon every year to participate in workshops together, get massages, soak in the tubs and just count our blessings. Esalen is my/our heaven on earth.
