First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Eugene The band members of the acoustic americana quartet Misty River have much to be thankful for and will share that sentiment Sunday, November 22 at 3:30 PM in a pre-Thanksgiving concert at First Christian Church. Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $17.00 at the door. Advance tickets are available online at www.mistyriverband.com and at CD world (3215 W 11th Eugene).

Any young adults (18 +) are invited to attend this weekly class on Sunday mornings beginning THIS Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009.
We'll meet in Room 314 at 11:00 am.
There will be food. There will be good conversation. Fun will be had and friends will be made!
We begin with this one foundation: "Love God with all your hear...t, soul, strength, and mind." Luke 10:27
From there we launch into a spirit filled conversation about what it means to live a life of faith in today's world. Each week will begin with casual check-in, followed by a 15-20 minute DVD (including input from 25 different, progressive, theologians) which will ignite our hearts and minds to share with one another our reflections on Christianity today.
