Sampson, who will be showing her new raku work. All are accomplished potters-- teachers, workshop leaders, and/or gallery members. Among the talented group, Yuki Nyhan and Roberta Polfus are both featured in Lill Street’s recent international competition. Not to mention, Mary Dye, current teacher at the Evanston Art Center, who creates wood-fired pottery, guaranteed to “warm the soul.”

Two memorial services were held for Tom Hebbard here at the Y - one on Wednesday evening and one this morning. The Chinnock Lounge was filled with his friends - Y members, Y staff, community members - sharing their memories of Tom. He opened the doors of the Y in the morning in a sense far beyond the literal one.
