A few weeks ago, I posted the article I wrote for Penguin Eggs Magazine about Pete Seeger. When I submitted my article, the editor also asked me to send them a list of my top ten folk/roots albums of all time for inclusion in the front of the magazine...

Hi Eve, a couple weeks ago I was up too late on the internet and impulsively bought a jamplay membership, then almost immediately regretted it - I doubted I'd be able to improve on the guitar that way, or maybe I'd be too lazy to even get around to trying a lesson. Then last week I bit the bullet and started with your ...lessons randomly (maybe because you are the only female teacher on there...). I am SO GLAD I did - you are a wonderful teacher and I feel really inspired to keep going with guitar now. So thank you. I wonder whether you plan to tour Vermont sometime or would you like to get connected - I think folks around here would dig your music. Also, do you recommend any other jamplay instructors? I am probably going to finish your phase 1 series by the end of this month and would love to continue on the folk/bluegrass vibe. -JeriRead More

Wow, thanks for posting Jeri -- great to hear that you are on your way with the guitar, and glad that I could be helpful! I am doing live webchats twice a week, too, so check out the schedule on the JamPlay site and drop by sometime. I would love to come to Vermont - I often perform in NY, PA, but I've never made it to VT. So send me some information and I'll see if I can make it happen!

Hello friends,I've been in blogger hibernation for a long time, but I haven't forgotten you! Sometimes it gets hard to pick up the pen and be creative on schedule, and sometimes life just takes us to other places for a while. But I've decided to plunge in again...
