Evergreen Chorus
The Evergreen Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, recently
welcomed two new members to the organization.
These ladies attended Open House which was held in June.
Madelyn Miller is an 8th grade student at Todd
Middle School in Spackenkill. She
plays violin in school, plays with Stringendo of the Hudson Valley Orchestra..., and is a member of the
Strawberry Hill Fiddlers as a Raspberry. She enjoys cooking,
fiddling, performing, singing, and softball. She was also born on Veteran's
Day (11-11-96).
Madelyn sings lead.
Karen Hoover is a graduate of Highland
High School and lives in Pleasant
Valley with her husband of 23
years, Skip. She has two children,
Craig, 21 and Krissy, 17. She works in
the cafeteria in the Arlington High
School.
Karen also works as a hairdresser in her home and is a Mary Kay
Consultant. Karin sings lead.

Evergreen Chorus had a great coaching session with Karen Sweeters last night. Everyone was motivated, and the ballad and uptune are starting to sound great!
