Welcome to the Experience Sanskrit workshop page.
The Experience Sanskrit workshop is for yogis who want to remember the Sanskrit names of the yoga poses they already do.
University Sanskrit classes have some of the highest drop-out rates of any language classes on campus.
But our workshop isn't like that. It's fun and it...'s based on EXPERIENCES. Experiences that are fun and hard to forget.

Experience Sanskrit workshop
The Experience Sanskrit workshop is a fun and unforgettable way to learn and remember the Sanskrit names of the yoga poses you already do.
It's not a dry, academic approach to learning and remembering.
Instead it's fun, almost like party games, and it's based on experiences that are vivid and memorable.
In four hours we'...ll address nearly 100 poses.
Here's what you get when you participate in Experience
Sanskrit:
* You'll learn the stories BEHIND the yoga poses.
The stories are rich with details that make strong
associations in your mind.
* You'll experience naming all of your body parts
and using those names, too.
* You'll experience Sanskrit math. Counting will
never be the same. You'll find out that Sanskrit
numbers are not so different from the numbers you
already know.
* We'll sort out the confusion over the
difference between the "common name" of a pose
and it's Sanskrit name.
* You'll learn why Sanskrit isn't a dead language.
* We'll work out all of the problem pairs, those
Sanskrit words that sound almost alike, but they
aren't. And mixing them up makes a BIG difference.
You'll also leave with a 100+ page companion guide that
you'll use as a reference for years to come. I know
you'll use it because students come to me and to tell
me they still refer back to it years later.
