Dedicated to extending the MBTA's hours of operation on Thursday - Saturday nights until 2:30am. Extending the hours of operation will decrease drunk driving, increase revenue, save YOU money, and make Boston a better place to live and visit!

A friend told me that public transportation could be free for all if they just re-routed all the expense of upgrading the collection system, paying people to enforce the system at each stop, etc.
All that $ could pay for free services! that would encourage so many people to stop driving...oh wait, maybe thats the reason...ahhh!!!

Imhotep Al-Mahdi： All right, I am a lifetime Bostonian. Grew up in the Dot (Dorchester for you visiters), and have been a near lifetime fan of out public transit system. We have the oldest transit system in the country, yet still haven't extended hours past 12:35 am. The T is now almost 3 times what it cost for me to purchse a token whe......n I was a kid, yet is now in more debt than it ever has been, and on the brink of bankruptcy. All this is happening while rates of attendence are up by more then 300%. I don't know what the T is doing, but I think an extension of their hours is the least they could do.
