"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is coming to Montgomery County for a life=changing 106-hour community effort to build a house for a deserving family. The community will be coming together for a traditional volunteer effort to make a difference in the community.

Hubby took me by there as we came home from Nashville and there was no parking for handicapped but I could see the house and it was beautiful ! Don't know the story but know that they deserved it ! Love Extreme Home Makeover ! Watching it this morning on a sat. channel. Never miss it! good way to clear the eyes with dust!

Yes, you have to "not" have a mortgage. Then if you qualify, as far as income, they build you a new house with a small mortgage that you have to pay. Of course that excludes us. I have tried everything in this area. There is help if you live in the city, we live in the county. In the county you have to be 60+, and I'm not in a hurry to get there!! I don't think there is anything out ther for us except a homemakeover.
