The shelter in Athens, GA has 2 very good websites that we should all be checking frequently. This website http://www.athenspets.net/?cat=6 shows the available dogs. Also, on the left hand side, it lists how many dogs are available, and how many are adopted, reclaimed, or 'no longer available'. This is very helpful... ...to keep track of the dogs there. It is kept up pretty well too. The other site is a message board http://athenspets.forumotion.net/forum.h

Help...This poor dog was adopted from Brooklyn ACC yesterday, the adopter within then and now turned... around & put this dog in a Baltimore shelter. Can you even conceive this move??? We are scraping to save his life as I type. If we can get him out, we need a patient Bully experienced foster or a boarding facility where we could work with him for a bit to see whats going on. Any & all help is pleaded for!!! I'm so disgusted right now.
