Florida State University students can apply now for a Serviceship through The Center for Leadership and Civic Education. A Serviceship is an award up to $4,000 to help fund travel and living costs for a to perform a service internship during the summer of 2010. Students interested in applying are expected to spend 30-4...0 hours per week for 8-12 weeks next summer contributing to an area of community need. Please visit http://thecenter.fsu.edu, and click “Students” and “Summer Serviceships” to learn more about the program and to download an application. Applications are due December 11.
Graduate SLIS students are eligible but must spend the semester after the serviceship on campus.

FAME was great! Laurie and I went up together from South Florida. She arranged a fabulous place to stay called Floridays. What an awesome place. We had so much fun together. The Conference was great and we loved seeing our London friends. Afterwards we went to Nate's work and were totally impressed. Laurie's mom and... step dad were very cordial to me after the conference. Could not find Devonshire Cream for the Scones, but did preserves and Creme Fresche- they were very good. Hope the fall is beginning great for everyone.
When I saw Dr. E's video and then everyone pictures, I missed London and Paris all over again. What a time of my life!!
FSU Multimedia Summer 2009 Presentation went well yesterday. Connie, Laura, Nate, and Sheila did an awesome job. Connie made 40 scones! It was great to get together again.
