La musica di Fabrizio Paterlini è stata definita ambient, minimalista, gentile, dolce e rilassante.. "un bicchiere di vino rosso in una notte d'estate", come la definisce lui stesso.
Nel 2008 ha rilasciato l'EP "Viandanze" (scaricabile gratuitamente dal sito ufficiale), anteprima del vero e proprio "full LP" che sarà registrato nel corso del 2009.
Nel 2007 è stato rilasciato il suo cd d'esordio "Viaggi in aeromobile", pubblicato con etichetta Music Center.
Nato a Mantova, ha iniziato a suonare il pianoforte all'età di 6 anni.
Dopo svariati anni di studi classici, è passato attraverso esperienze con diverse formazioni, passando dal progressive al hard rock, dal jazz al pop più raffinato.
E' dalla fine degli anni '90 che ha deciso di concentrarsi maggiormente sul pianoforte, strumento che meglio poteva esprimere il suo mondo interiore.
La sua musica si ispira alle sonorità di Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, Michael Nyman e molti altri.
Da sempre attento ascoltatore, fonde nel suo stile oltre 20 anni di musiche, stili e tradizioni diverse.
"Viaggi in aeromobile" vi catapulterà nel suo mondo e vi sorprenderete di quanto sia piacevole lasciarsi trasportare dalle sue note.

Fabrizio Paterlini’s music has been defined as ambient, minimalist, graceful, sweet and relaxing: “a glass of red wine on a summer evening”, as he himself defines it.
Born in Mantua, Fabrizio started playing the piano at the age of 6. After many years studying classical music, he started perfoming with a number of bands, playing everything from progressive to hard rock, from jazz to pop.
It was not until the end of the 90s that he decided to explore new musical paths, concentrating on the piano, the instrument that best expresses his inner world.
In 2008, he published the EP "Viandanze" (freely downloadable from the official site), a short preview of the entire full album, which will be registered in 2009.
In 2007, on the “Music Center” label, he released his debut CD, “Viaggi in Aeromobile” (Aircraft Trips): a delicate and elegant album that catapults the listener into the intimate world of the artist where he willingly allows himself to be transported by a sound of rare beauty.
