Here at Face The State, we pride ourselves on hard-hitting investigative journalism. On occasion, however, we like to let loose and throw a good party. There's a lot to celebrate: FTS was recently named Denver's "Best Political Blog" by Westword newspaper for a second year in a row, a great way to mark our feisty lit...tle Web site's 2nd birthday.

But you can't have a good party without good looking people. So to mark the occasion, we invite you to rub elbows with Face The State's "Hottest Politicos" for 2009 - Join us Tuesday, April 7th from 5 to 7 p.m. as we take over Cherry Creek hotspot Campo de Fiori to reveal this year's award winners. In a celebration of true diversity, the list includes Republicans, Democrats, and even one of those "big L" libertarians. This cadre of politically hot men and women have successful careers, fantastic personalities and oh, right, good looks!
