La Caraquena

Those Chileans know a thing or two about yummy and the talented team at La Caraqueña brought together an unholy combination of thinly-sliced sirloin, fried egg and sautéed onions and tomatoes. Like you might find in my favorite Peruvian place La Granja De Oro on Columbia Rd, there's a mini helping of what these characters call "Llajua" (Ya-hwah) — whatever that means.

So if you're ready to get your yummy on, you've got to make the trek out to La Caraqueña.

Word to the wise though, vegetarians beware.
