Miss Porter's School Varsity basketball beat Governor's Academy in the New England Quarterfinals yesterday in an action-packed game with a very close score. Porter's prevailed with a 47-46 win! The team advances to the semifinals, with their next game at Pomfret School tomorrow at 4:45 p.m.

Miss Porter's School Porter's basketball scores! Varsity heads into the NEPSAC playoffs with their first playoff game at home vs. The Governor's Academy tomorrow at 4. All are welcome to attend. And, junior varsity just wrapped up an undefeated season, ending with a dramatic 28-27 victory over Loomis Chaffee.

Miss Porter's School Former Head of School Dick Davis and his wife, Nancy, helped lead an enthusiastic campus welcome for Founder's Day speaker, Ancient Glenda Newell-Harris. Dr. Newell-Harris, the first African-American student to graduate from Porter's, was elected student head of school her senior year and she is also former trustee. Sh...e is the co-founder of Talk4Health: Strategies for Life Wellness & Health Literacy Consultancy and Principal of Newell & Spriggs Consulting, LLC. Miss Porter's School Porter's squash team will compete in the United States High School Team Squash Championship tournament at Choate Rosemary Hall on Saturday, February 6. It will be the first national championship for Porter's squash team!
