To kick off the 2009 fall school season, Rosedale Center will host Fashion Bash 2009, a back-to-school fashion show geared towards high school students, on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. All the hottest styl...es, colors and accessories that are a must-have to make going back to school the most exciting part of the year will be featured on the Rosedale Center runway. Specialty retailers participating in this exciting show include; Herberger’s, GAP, Foot Locker, White House Black Market, Men’s Warehouse, Cache, Vanity, Charlotte Russe, Zumiez and VSA Custom Apparel. Hair and make-up provided by Rocco Altobelli Salons & Day Spas, Regis and Clinique.
The Vision Management Group in Minneapolis will be recruiting local models to walk the runway wearing the newest in fall fashion specifically for Fashion Bash 2009. Male and female students ages 14 - 18 are invited to attend a casting call at Rosedale Center on Saturday, August 1st from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Additional information regarding the casting call can be found under the Model Search.
Fashion Bash 2009 will be emceed by Elizabeth Reis, television host of the popular KSTP-TV “Twin Cities Live” afternoon show. This Hollywood style event will include a red carpet, fashion photographers as well as VIP seating giving the show the look and feel of New York Fashion Week’s Bryant Park festivities. The public in encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of the special sales going on throughout the mall prior to and after the event.
In addition to the fashion show festivities, a University of Minnesota fraternity will perform a “Step Show”. Shoppers can also register to win one of forty-five KSTC-TV, Channel 45 backpacks, each containing items and coupons valued at over $250 just in time for the back-to-school shopping season! Register to win wonderful prizes from show sponsors.
Admission is complimentary, with plentiful viewing areas around the runway and second level of East Court. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first served basis
