We would like to welcome you to a very special conference we are holding on October 27 and 28 on “Item-Level RFID: The Road to ROI” (in conjunction with the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions Association and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals). The conversation continues about Item-Level RFI...D…RFID's feasibility, utilization, and ROI. Continued research has been taken to the next level with real-world testing of RFID in apparel/retail stores.
There have been two RFID forums have been held throughout this research process. The last was in September 2008. Don't miss the newest and most up-to-date research that is being released October 27-28, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. RFID technology is ready to address many of the problems faced in today’s retail environment. This event will report on how item-level RFID can positively impact loss prevention, inventory accuracy, out of stocks, and cycle count accuracy. Learn more about the ROI from RFID through an examination of costs versus benefits in real-world settings.
Hear from major retailers such as Macy’s, Inc. and many more who have tested item-level in their stores. You will:
Hear how they implemented testing of item-level RFID
Hear results from their testing
Learn about the data surrounding their findings
This event is a must-attend for retailers, suppliers, and anyone else exploring item-level RFID. Discussions, tours of an RFID lab, and hands-on demonstrations give retailers the opportunity to explore their own RFID implementation opportunities. See the agenda for more information or register now to secure your seat.
The research has been undertaken by the University of Arkansas RFID Research Center with the combined efforts of VICS, CSCMP, Procter & Gamble, and Dillard’s. So far, research has pointed to the fact that greater RFID benefits can be derived from item-level tagging..
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Dr. Bill Hardgrave
