Fever Marlene

Milwaukee natives, Fever Marlene, hit the Chicago indie rock scene in 2005 while the first recording sessions for "Civl War" were taking place. Scott Starr and Kevin Dunphy had just relocated to the windy city after attending college together in Madison, Wisconsin and failing to settle the band in West Hollyood, LA. After a year of recording and performing around the Chicago area, Fever Marlene relocated and built their own recording flat in a 4000 sq. ft. debunked shoe factory in Milwaukee's Fifth Ward. There they recorded the bulk of their debut record. After finishing the recordings at Elabs Multimedia in Madison, WI with producer Jack LeTourneau, the band released "Civil War" on Rev Pop Records and continues to capture new audiences with their catchy-bombastic, rock n roll melodies. Fever Marlene is planning to release their new album, "White China", at Turner Hall Ballroom on March 7th. The latest songs off their new album were recorded at the famous Chelsea Hotel in New York City over 4 nights. Along with the album they'll be releasing a documentary DVD and a photo journal.
