Fiber Dreams

Fiber Dreams I originally designed and released the Tilia shawl pattern in collaboration with Dee of Posh Yarns (http://poshyarn.co.uk/). She distributed it as a limited edition kit, which sold out almost immediately. The period of exclusivity is now over, and the pattern is available for individual sale. You can get it online at P...atternfish (http://www.patternfish.com/patterns/4133). The printed patterns will start trickling into shops across the U.S. sometime about the middle of January.

I really liked that color when I saw a photo of it online, but it didn't do the real thing any justice at all! :-)

It's a good project to try the yarn out with, as it only takes a couple of balls. I *love* knitting with this stuff. Yum.

You're welcome, Diane. :-)

Fiber Dreams Good news: finally got a copy of magazine with my Aventine pattern in it, and it looks terrific. I love their photo of it. Bad news: there's a problem with the chart. They used the same symbol for a purl stitch as for a k2tog. Eek! I contacted Love of Knitting, and put errata on my web site.

Our patterns are all checked, re-checked, and checked again, but mistakes slip by now and then. As an aside, for some reason I seem to have the most trouble with patterns whose names start with the letter "G." I wonder why that is. ...

Fiber Dreams Has anyone seen it in the wild yet? Love of Knitting's Winter 2009 issue is out, and my Aventine scarf pattern is in it -- it's in the list under accessories. No photos on the publisher's web site, so I don't know how it looks in print yet!

Thanks so much. Another thing I like about your designs is that you include us chart phobics,.I can't seem to wrap my brain around them. I used to do counted cross stitch so I followed charts all the time. What's wrong with me???LOL
