Summer 2008 sees Finchley touring the debut album ‘No Clouds’. Gathering rave reviews and airplay across the globe for the new record, the band are looking forward to getting in front of audiences again and performing the material live; building on the success of last years concerts.
Finchley is Ian Finch (vox and guitar), Greg Schofield (lead guitar) Chris Taylor (Bass) and Ryan Forrest (Drums). The band originally started in summer 2006 as a solo project by Ian Finch:

“Having been guitarist and co-songwriter in rock band Supervision for a number of years, I started my solo career in the Summer of 2006 wanting to do something different, something melodic and beautiful while keeping the big rock production, anthemic feel. I launched the debut EP "Walking with Angels" at Greenbelt, UK to a fantastic crowd and from there it began... “

...and it's started very well! - label interest, TV appearances, gigs all over the UK and lots of acoustic-only performances which has been new for me but have been really special. "No Clouds" is now the debut album release with the new band taking the successful textured, acoustic-rock formula of "Walking with Angels" and expanding it in both directions for a really diverse album of rock songs and mellow surf vibe, acoustic tunes.
