FIRESUITE have played many shows this year, all over the place, and we are going to have a bit of a sit down, metaphorically speaking you see. We will be undertaking some recording which likely see us through to the new year and beyond...

Firesuite 's next show is at The Corporation, Sunday 27th September playing with "And So I Watch You From Afar...". This will likely be our last show for a little while as we are going to decamp and record many a thing

Firesuite tomorrows show in Manchester has been unceremoniously cancelled we're afraid. The reasons given by the venue were thin on the ground, so we apologise. Hopefully we should be visiting Manchester some time in October

Firesuite

FIRESUITE parade their hefty wares around the country on a rare jaunt. Come and be a part of our warm, loud, sumptuous bubble of an evening. It's always better when you're there. Here are some words from many lovely people about said bubble -

"Amazing. Original, diverse, challenging rock. This is music of quality and sh...ould be recognised as such. Hopefully Firesuite will be unavoidable in the future... 9/10" - ROCKSOUND

"another set of impressive recordings and a rich intelligent alternative guitar sound. Three rather big songs/pieces and fine hints of things like My Vitriol, Mew, My Bloody Valentine and maybe even a touch of Deftones in there flavouring their dynamic sound. Three songs that are accessible yet never too obvious, bit of a heroic sound, heart-tearing"ORGAN

"This is not a band I'd normally expected to come my way, but I am so very happy that they did...the sound is so lush and full of textures that I thought there were a lot more players involved. Musically, imagine My Bloody Valentine and a bit of Explosions In the Sky meeting up for some drinks and a jam session with early Radiohead and some Sigur Rós. Better yet, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead crashing their instruments along to a Cocteau Twins song." FeastOfHateAndFear

"The Sheffield quartet do the quiet bit/loud bit anthemics with more grace than most signed bands. Building from sweet twinkly FX into Pumpkins style grandeur, they also convey it very subtly highly promising. " PLANET SOUND (CH4 TELETEX

"The set veers from sonic assaults to passionate, ethereal soundtracks...electric folk with crashing bruising metal crescendos. Go See." MANCHESTER MUSIC

"the controlled storm of fuzz that comes from the two Chris’ (Anderson and Minor) instruments is a wonderful sound...reminds of Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine and even almost-forgotten rockers My Vitriol...Intense and from the heart." HIGH VOLTAGE

"Firesuite always bring with them a certain magical atmosphere that you cannot ignore" SANDMAN

"like nothing else from the city right now...suitably sepulchral epic soundscapes. 8 out of 10." PLANET SOUND CHANNEL 4

"There is something about their combination of intelligent lyrics, haunting male and female vocals, rich electronic keyboards and thrashing guitars that get you right in the guts. Both fragile and powerful at the same time, they perform with an emotional integrity that is quite rare" SANDMAN

"Raw melodic ambitious indie rock of a potentially big and rather epic nature... shaped with a bit of a healthy post-rock edge to their song-based vision."ORGAN

"Musically, these guys are rather good. Citing influences as diverse as Jeff Buckley and Deftones, they bridge the heavy rock and quiet rock gap wonderfully. The vocalist drifts from falsetto tones down to a more standard lower tone and seems to sing every word like he means it." L2SB WEBSITE

As part of a group of shows FIRESUITE are embarking upon during the month of August, and coming after their triumphant TRAMLINES performance with Rolo Tomassi FIRESUITE will be visiting Manchester, Leeds and London
