First Ascent Press

First Ascent Press Hello Fans!
Happy New Year everyone. I'm writing to ask a big favor!
As a tiny, one-man show I'm always looking for good grassroots marketing. Although Amazon isn't my biggest, nor my preferred distribution channel (that would be my web site), they are important for SEO since everything in the book world looks to that site for information/numbers. If you use and enjoy any of the titles from First Ascent Press could you take a few moments to log onto Amazon and write a review. These reviews quickly raise the profile of the titles. Thanks in advance everyone!
The easiest way to find the book on Amazon.com is to search by the ISBN #. That is the 13 digit number on the bar code on the back cover.
Hope to see you out on the ice this winter!
Cheers,
Joe Josephson

First Ascent Press Plans for the 2008 Arc'Teryx Bozeman Ice Festival are coming along great and it is shaping up to be the best year ever. Right on cue, the ice up Hyalite Canyon is coming in strong and the County is getting set to plow the road all the way to the Grotto Falls Parking Lot. Go to www.bozemanicefestival.com to reserve your space today! Don't miss the most fun you'll have out in the cold all year.

First Ascent Press Like a certain event on November 4th, winter, along with great ice climbing and skiing, can not get here soon enough.
And if that's not enough to look forward too...

In addition to launching "Rock Climbs of Southwest Montana" by Kyle Vassilopoulos and the upcoming Bozeman Ice Festival and Hyalite Ice Breaker, over the next few months I will be rolling out a variety of new features on my web site and collateral sites like Facebook and Cagey Veteran.

So I invite you all to check back often, invite your friends to become fans and most of all, thanks for all your continued support and faith over the years. I hope to see you in the hills soon!
Onward, Joe Josephson

First Ascent Press I just talked with the printer in Canada. The book is printed and bound (it really exists!). However, due to the upcoming Presidential election, US border security has tightened considerably and everything has gotten backed up as a result. It should clear Customs by the 31st and I am expecting to take delivery of the books anytime between November 4th and 6th. I will ship out your orders the day they arrive.
Thanks to everyone for your continued patience and support.
Regards,
Joe Josephson
