First State Greyhound Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of ex-racing Greyhound dogs. We place greyhounds in homes around the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- A financially troubled slot parlor seeking bankruptcy protection will pay $5 million as it attempts to end the last greyhound races in Rhode Island because the sport is costing the track money, attorneys said Friday.
