Twelve outstanding Florida conservationists were recognized for their achievements. The Federation’s annual selection of conservation award winners is one of the... oldest in the state. Florida Wildlife Federation The evening will begin in the Auditorium with an illustrated overview of the general ecology of part of the Gulf of Mexico. Participants will then embark on a short, guided walking tour of the lab and meet some of the local marine denizens in the seawater touch-tanks. From there, put on your walking shoes and walk the exposed tidal sands where an array of fascincating life-forms can be seen.
