an earlier piece "yeah tho i walk in thru the valley" was much loved by the Holy Family School, in Wanaka. it featured a blue cross, on a field of chaos fire.
it made me reconsider my insistence on symbol free artworks. i'm sure that a mix of symbol and chaos can still effectively communicate non-consciously, and perhap...s more effectively to groups with associations to those symbols.
my art is a journey through faith, and fresh from god, so it seems appropriate to use religious images. so this marks a change in path, but not in intent.
