A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCE
Today, rising to the challenge of protecting our planet has become a matter of great urgency. Accepting this challenge is still possible, action levers do exist – we have proof of this every day. Mobilisation also exists, but it is still not enough. That is why I decided to set up a Foundation whose purpose is to protect the environment and to encourage sustainable development: the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
I will devote the time and energy necessary to make action carried out by the Foundation successful. Needless to say, the challenge of protecting our environment and implementing measures to enable natural resources to be protected, extends far beyond the borders of each country. By definition, this is a common global challenge that requires urgent and concrete action in response to three major environmental issues: climate change, loss of biodiversity and water.
This situation compels each one of us to take action if we want to protect the planet for future generations. Mobilisation is a key element. The environment belongs to all of us and it is our duty to protect it. Rest assured of my personal and unfailing commitment towards achieving this goal. (read less)
