Matt Clark dream came true by scoring a goal at st. james park! we won 6-2 to boot.

Tim Absolutely amazing day to be a part of the West Ham game 1. Thank you for everyone for being so welcoming to a guy coming from the states to get a proper football match. I already miss all of my new friends!

James Murray
Fulfilled a dream by scoring at Anfield last week in Game 2!
Also great to come back and win 4-3 after being 2-0 down within ten minutes.
What a day...just great craic and a big thanks to the organizers!

Phil Chambers Just wanted to say a big thankyou for the day at Old Trafford on the 20th May, my first Football Aid game and a fantastic experience that i would recommend to any footy fan! A big thanks also to the guys, many of them regulars, who made me feel very welcome and part of a great team of lads!!

Gian Marco Serra One of the best days of my life...I was so emotioned after I was nominated Man of the away team...thanks everyoneeeee :D

Dale Young
What a Day at Goodison Park "Game 1" really enjoyed every minute, met some really good lads on both teams. Played for the away team on the day unfortunately we lost but it really doesnt matter one bit.Just to be involved and play at Goodison is something I'll never forget !!!!
Scoring at the Gwladys End was something to treasure...being Captain for the Day with my Son as Mascot will be a lasting memory.
Would like to thank ALL the lads on Both teams, Im sure you enjoyed it as much as I did...
Keep it touch !

Wayne Mackney Great evening at Goodison Park last night, never enjoyed getting beat 8-1 so much, I don't think we will see our 2-1-7 formation used too widely in the future but thanks Football Aid for a very memorable experience. Hope to be back next time

Neil McGuinness Great game yesterday at Celtic Park, weather shining bright but massive letdown that no managers or legends turned up. I cant imagine it is that hard to find 2 players out of the thousands of ex pro's who have played for celtic who would have wanted a game. Also finished 7-7 and didnt get the option of a penalty shoot out. Its the little things like that which could do with improving from Football aid due to the money your paying for the game. That aside, you cant beat walking onto your teams park and playing a game, trully memorable.

Dene Gagliardi Echoing Nick Yeates, thanks for a fantastic day at Pride Park and it was a pity that only Roger Davies showed but as Nick says, thanks to Stephen Bywater for coming down at short notice at half time for a few photos and a chat. My little boy, Jacob, hasn't stopped talking about the match and wants to know if he can take part next year? I'm aching 2 days later but still smiling about having played there again. Roll on next year's event!!

Nick Yeates Thanks for a great day at Pride Park on Saturday. Shame 3 of the legends didn't turn up but it was good of Bywater to come down and say hello.

Aaron Aherne dissapointed at losing 6-5 to Leicester Away yesterday, whos knows what the result could have been if Steve Walsh had turned up and not got ratted the night before!

Mark Bowes Has anyone heard any rumours about legends that might be appearing at Newcastle game on the 26th – I’m playing no 6 home side.

Michael Robinson Thanks for a fantastic day at Carrington yesterday, I had a great time & think you're doing a great job for all us wannabees!

Steve Kneller Great day at Southampton on Monday although I am still suffering now! Well organised and played in the right spirit, and we maintained tradition at St Mary's by having an away win :-)

Fiachra Lynch Cheers Football Aid and Blackburn Rovers for a super night last night !! Hope to be back next year !!!

Alex Ewing Places available for West Ham charity match for breast cancer on 30th May! 3pm kick off. 2 places left! Get in touch if you fancy it chaps!! Cheers!

Chris Eales Great day at Hillsborough yesterday lasted the full 90 and won for the 1st time in my 3rd footballaid match. If I can make a suggestion please ask the referees to allow a little leeway and let the game flow a little, our ref stopped the game far too often, we all pay a lot of money to play and would get a lot more out of a more flowing game, I understand they have to ref it properly but they can still alloe the game to flow, cheers

Darren Ah thanks John, i'm also buzzing cos my Son Thomas is going to be Mascot!!

Niko Watkinson when will the match reports be on? and the videos from 2009? i played at old trafford and bagged 2, an then a week later played at anfield and bagged 1 there ;)
