ok, I know this shouldn't be funny but for my kids the only way to understand the ignorance surrounding their breed and dog they will make a joke of all the hysteria. For example, our 4 mnth old Pitbull puppy chewed the hands and one leg off of a barbie doll and the kids said she was a statistic, she got attacked by a vicious pitbull. They laughed ... Read Moreof course and in reality we all know how serious it is but I guess for us lovers of these wonderful dogs sometimes we have to laugh and make light of such ignorance.

As we reported in July, Tammy Hanson, the fugitive who was on the run
after For Pits' Sake uncovered her animal cruelty/hoarding operation
involving close to 600 dogs (including Katrina dogs) in 2005, was
apprehended in Vermont. Her husband William Hanson, however is still
