
Forestburgh Playhouse Times Herald Record Names Best Musical of 2009: "High School Musical" at the Forestburgh Playhouse! Young audiences had the chance to see a live performance of their favorite Disney Channel movie about a modern retelling of the Romeo and Juliet story with, of course, a happy ending. Sarah Norris directed this version... with a precisely rehearsed cast of 26, as well as exuberant choreography and live musical accompaniment. Among the many company numbers, at the performance I attended "We're All in This Together" became a singalong, with youngsters repeating by heart a song they have already made their own.
