The five veteran musicians that comprise Sigmund Floyd
come from various parts of the country ranging from New
York, Cal...ifornia, Washington D.C and Florida. They have
made and performed music all over the world. One thing
they have always shared while playing in other projects,
whether covers or originals, is their love and
appreciation for Pink Floyd. Many of the members of the
band have been regularly involved in the South Florida
music scene and all are multi-talented on various
instruments. The band performs material from Pink
Floyd’s catalogue ranging from such early albums as Piper
at Dawn’s Early Gate, Obscured By Clouds, Meddle,
Animals, Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of The Moon,
and The Wall.

Brad Button - Saxaphone and Keyboards - Started playing saxaphone in grade
school, and continued throughout high school and college playing in various jazz
and rock bands. He also branched out into playing keyboards and drums for
different bands in the Midwest and later in South Florida. He is a versatile musician
that likes to play jazz, rock, and everything in between making him a perfect fit for
the band.
Chip Jones - keyboards and guitar - Born into a family that included a few
professional violinists. He played piano until middle school when it became obvious
rock guitarists got more girls than classical pianists. Started gigging with rock bands
professionally in middle school. Moved back to keyboards in college because there
were thousands of guitarists and lots of bands that needed keys. After college, got
play with members of Spyro Gyra, Pieces of Dream, and Danny Gatton's Funhouse.
Since moving to Florida he has played with a mix of cover and original bands.
Andy Calderone - Drummer and Vocals : Grew up on Long Island, N.Y. where he
began drum lessons, under the tutelage of Al Miller noted educator, at the age of
10. After graduating college he toured the Eastern Seaboard performing constantly
for 10+ years, from Conn. to Fla. where he decided to put down roots. He has never
stopped playing or learning his craft. A well rounded percussionist, he is a perfect fit
for the music of Pink Floyd. His most recent gig was with "Jammin' Sammin' " a
three piece classic rock bank that played exclusively in the lower Key's over the last
15 years.
Jon Udell Bass and Vocals Jon has been playing bass for over 25 years
in various bands all over the country including Philadelphia, Los Angeles ,
and South Florida. Most recently before playing with Sigmund Floyd, he was
playing bass with the Grateful Dead tribute band the Wheel. While living and
working in Los Angeles, Udell was fortunate to study bass at the Jamie Faunt
School of Music. Udell makes his living as a professional sound mixer and
usually runs a mult track at every show. Ask for a cd next time you see him
Scott Opiela - Lead Guitar and Vocals - A graduate of the University of
Miami's School of Music, Scott has played backing guitar for Norwegian
Cruise Lines as well as studio and live sessions with several local artists with
cd credit.He currently is also the bassist with the metal band Predator with
worldwide cd release and magazine/internet reviews and interviews.Read More
