we are cruising on Poesia on Nov 30. will let you know about our service. We sailed last year on the Carnival Splendor, lovely ship, (some design flaws) We had one of the nicer tables for dinner (in the rear corner of the main seating area, you could see the whole area.) We had the most terrible waiters. our table was always the last to be server dinner, tables next to us sometimes had dessert before we were all served dinner.

Hi David, don't worry that is not a sailing with MSC. We only depart from Fort Lauderdale for the Caribbean season. We don’t feature any cougar theme cruises lol.

Just returned from a MSC cruise, the ship was very clean, the food was blan (hope you can eat pizza & no meat pasta for a week). The main dinning room did not impress me either. Don't expect any interaction w/the officers, crew or staff. You almost never see them. The Captian didn't even come to his own welcome cocktail party. Oh, & be prepaired to... Read More go to your cabin or a bar by 8 PM. They take up the deck chairs before sundown as well as the table & chairs around the pool. The pool & spa closed aroound 8, too. The best part of the trip was when my kids found out Shiprocked 2009 was aboard. We were never told Heavy Rockers would make up more than half the passengers. MSC also changed our cabins (we had 2) and our dinner seating. No, they didn't say anything about it until we checked in and NO, we did not receive what I would call an upgrade. They just said Oh well, do you still want to go? We were really excited to try the MSC line, but we were so disappointed. This was not our first cruise so I did have high expectatins. Don't just take my word, so many of the passenger & the rockers were not impressed with the advertised features that never happened. It was a lot of small things that added up to a disappointing cruise.

Oh My!! I will check that next time I will be on a MSC cruise. I don't think there is a nationality printed on their name badge. but for sure, I have understood very well even those from different nationlities. sometimes it is your attitude towards people you are dealing with. But for me it is part of the thrill where in you meet a lot of different people and different culture and different laguages. that is where fun is...

Angel, we love traveling and have been in several parts of the world. We have been on several crusie lines. Meeting the locals and enjoying their culture is wonderful, but you won't get that on an MSC cruise. We just returned from a MSC 5 day cruise. Very disappointing.

just got home from MSC poesia this morning...the ship is pretty...and thats it. we just had a week of horrible experiences. food is terrible. no othermenu options, whatever is being served..thats it,. staff is all phillipino. no english at all. the management actually argues with you when you complain. they stop serving food for the night at 8pm ( ... Read Moredinner) oh and at 11;30pm you can get fruit or crepes. well if you are a drinker..you want food before bed at 1,2 am. i would never recommend this cruiseline. ever. if you have ever sailed carnival and royal carribean you will see the difference...this company did not teach the staff manners or professionalism, or customer service....i would rethink this....and we were on a Rock themed cruise..should been fun right?????

Don't use MSC I just came back Friday + they sucked on services. Don't use them!!!
