Having served in the Navy for 6 years back in the 70's, I would have liked to have taken advantage of something like this. I'm glad to help out others now.

In earlier days, photographers would use any number of filters and lenses to alter the exposure of their film. Later they might use push or pull processing during developing to modify the contrast, resolution and other properties of the raw negative. With the advent of digital imaging, digital image processing has replaced many of these earlier techniques but their function remains the same, to aid in creating the image originally envisioned by the visual artist.

Yes, the leaves at Barr lake are falling off of the trees now and in reality are not that green. But the model is really a park ranger named 'Bob' with a three day beard and a half-smoked cigar in his hand! But after a little Photoshop, viola!
