Early this morning at 12:30 Officers responded to 3770 Metro Parkway in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival at the Westchase Apartments officers were flagged down by the caller who led them to the wrong apartment in reference to a disturbance.

Lee Mental Health selected Fort Myers Police Officer Kristi Golba as the 2009 Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer of the Year. This is the third straight year the department has won the award.
