University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Alumni The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Lady Lions volleyball team will play its final home match of the season against the Oklahoma City University Stars tonight at 7 p.m. at the Stubblefield Center. The Lady Lions have won an impressive 12 matches in a row and are 24-3 overall.
University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Alumni The UA Fort Smith Lady Lions volleyball team will host “Dig Pink” Night at 7 p.m. on 10/12. “Dig Pink Night” is a national promotion that brings awareness to breast cancer and breast cancer research. All breast cancer survivors will be admitted free as will anyone wearing a 2009 “Dig Pink” T-shirt. “Dig Pink” T-shirts are on sale now for $10 at the UA Fort Smith Bookstore.

Dr. Alex Zacharella of Fort Smith took on a new role this fall as director of bands at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, but there is also another big change for the UA Fort Smith Symphonic Band and its first concert of the year on Oct. 15. The concert moves downtown.
