These applications must be submitted between January 1 and March 1 of each year to qualify for priority consideration for funds.
IPFW Financial Aid Office If you have the CVO (Child of a Disabled Veteran or Public Safety Worker) aid from the state, be aware that the state has changed the procedures. To cut down on fraud, the state is now requiring a birth certificate (or adoption record if adopted) to be submitted with certification applications. This applies to new application and renewal applications.

Receive a mystery refund check last week? It may have been due to the "SSACI Freeze." At the beginning of the semester, we award the Frank O'Bannon award (HEA) based on 12 credit hours. Then, during the 4th week of classes, enrollment hours are "locked in" to the system. If you are enrolled in more than 12 credit hou...rs, the remainder of your HEA pays out and you get a refund check if your balance is already paid.Read More
IPFW Financial Aid Office Whew it's been a busy 2 weeks in the Financial Aid office (which I'm sure you've noticed if you were stuck standing in line!) but things are finally getting back to normal. So how much money has been disbursed since August 17th? Around $36 MILLION dollars!
IPFW Financial Aid Office It's the first week of classes! If you're still waiting for funds to disburse, keep an eye on the Accounts Summary box on the Enrollment tab. The homepage of Touchnet will also show the aid posted as a payment and the current activity will show when the refund is posted to your account.
