Fr Joseph Vaz, Beatus Another biography, with a timeline and a couple of book references. It is quite hard to find books devoted to the Beatus.

You couldn't do better than finding a Ceylonese or Sri Lankan Catholic and asking them. They have marvellous stories told by word of mouth. Or you could find the biography I've read, which is a 1961 issue of A Saint for the New India: Father Joseph Vaz by Carlo Gasbarri, by S. Paul publications. I don't know if they are still printed.
