Known this for years: About 15 years ago Peter Biskind (who was writing for Premiere Magazine) had picked my brain for Godfather movie gaffs, trivia and more. I never gave him this one, seeing that he never, ever offered to credit me. Give up? Answer...: the Godfather gets shot there is an audible clue and portentous trumpet is heard wafting from a near by apartment: It is playing "Fistularia" the trumpet fish or what we commonly call: "SCALES".

One of the best movies ever made, i understand that you had some problems during the shooting with one of the actors..but anyway the final product was exellent.-
