Henry Patino By the way, who should I thank for this awesome idea? Who put this page together?

There is none righteous, no not one! But, through our Great God even the smallest of men can change the course of history. He loves to use the weak to confound the mighty. For, when we are weak then His strength can shine through us. But, when we think our minds have become the measure of all things, we have taken the ...path of the Great Opposer. Even as we speak the time of testing is fast upon us. Judgment begins with the household of God. Prepare. Plant your seed in fertile ground, the earth of humility and a willing heart. Soon the sun will heat and scorch those who have fallen on rocky and shallow earth. The Mahdi shall come riding on Al Buraq, waving the black flag of Khurasan. He shall sit on his white steed with a bow in his hand. He shall conquer the whole world and trample it under his feet. He shall invade the Promised Land. But, he shall be broken and not by human hands. Are we ready?Read More

How clever is the deception of the Enemy! The power of the deluding spirit shall indeed deceive even some of the elect. But in the end "those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightnes of the expanse of heaven and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." The greatest harv...est of souls that ever was is here today. More people are alive in our planet than have existed in all the generations put together from the time of Firstfather. Upon our shoulders He has placed this awesome responsibility. It is a humbling thought. Will we truly seek the face of God? Will we humble our arrogance and pride? Will we learn to forgive as He has forgiven us? Will we study through the Holy Spirit or our own feeble minds?Read More

Words are inadequate to describe what Schaeffer has done. He is an imperfect man, saved by grace, who sought with courage and intelligence to teach True Truth in a world that reveres the Lie. Were it not for his keen mind and courage to teach us with intelligence and love that Christianity is not the best answer, but t...he only answer, I would not be... Read More serving my precious Savior. I owe him much. May God raise more men like him at this hour in the closing of our Age. The Second Earth shall soon end, when the Lion of Judah roars and the mountains crumble and the valleys are lifted up. Jerusalem shall be the City of Truth. And after I have seen theBranch of David with nail scarred hands, the next that I shall seek will be Dr. Schaeffer.Read More

I read "Crazy for God," by his son, Frank. I really enjoyed as it portrayed the great philosopher and theologian as a man with faults like us all.
It sounds like Frank, though raised by his famous dad, is not sure what to really believe anymore. I can identify with that, as I approach 50. In my twenties, I was dogmatic... and so sure of what I believed.
I don't consider myself a man of god, or a man of great faith, but one who struggles to understand the mysteries of this life.
I can appreciate when Christian celebrities expose their own struggles with faith, and almost hate the elevation that religious factions, movements, and individuals give them. It seems many people are hoping to find someone who can help them believe the things that can't be seen, when these individuals like Schaeffer can't really understand them either, but step out in faith, even if they might be wrong.Read More

Jerry From whom our son Isaac takes his middle name "Schaeffer" (two weeks old yesterday). May the Lord be ever pleased to make Isaac a great servant of our God and King Jesus Christ. A servant with a passion not unlike Francis Schaeffer's.

Hello everyone,
I discovered Schaeffer back in 1990, and after reading the Complete Works (twice) I still find myself re-reading the Trilogy every so often.
This was especially refreshing earlier this year after I had been spending time reading some of the 'emergent' authors such as Brian McLaren. Fran's writings remi...nded me that there is such a thing as 'true truth'.
My 18 year old daughter has also caught wind of Schaeffer and we have been sharing some thoughts.Read More

Dr Schaeffer returned my letters in the late 70's and I saw him at BIOLA University right before his death. He has forever influenced my faith to that of the Reformation. Dr. Schaeffer often corresponded with Macolm Muggeridge who has a couple of great quotes, "Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby G...od speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message." "I can say that I never knew what joy was like until I gave up pursuing happiness, or cared to live until I chose to... die. For these two discoveries I am beholden to Jesus." As Dr. Schaeffer always signed and I do now too: In the Lamb,

Most of us can't see the forest but for the trees. This man saw the big picture. In the book and movie "How Should We Then Live" he traces the church through the centuries.
When you read Francis Schaeffer, you realize that you do not have to commit intellectual suicide to become a Christian. His stuff is amazing!
