Frantic Clam began half a world away in the winter of 2006 when guitarist, Zack Hadley and bassist, Joe Sparks were deployed to Iraq with the US Army.
Upon their return home in 2007, they began recording their first EP “Celebrity.” During this time time, high school friends Vasanth Coorg and Jack Reid joined the band and the group began playing show around the Austin area.
Recently, Frantic Clam has released their second EP "Anatomica" on Exemplary Records to substantial critical acclaim by both local and national press outlets. They have been featured by Performing Songwriter magazine, KALX Berkeley's "The Next Big Thing," and on American Apparel's Viva Radio station.
