Round Robins with IFC Fraternities
6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14 in Morgan University Center, Third Floor
Open to all interested students, round robins will give you the chance to meet members of each fraternity an...d learn about the organizations. Please arrive by 5:45 pm. Dress casual (i.e. jeans, polo, nice t-shirt).
Open Houses
6–9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15 at each chapter’s facilities
Open to all interested students, Open House night will give you the opportunity to see the chapter’s facilities and continue conversations with members. Dress casual (i.e. jeans, polo, nice t-shirt).
Preference Dinners
Wednesday, Sept. 16 and Thursday, Sept. 17, locations TBD
By invitation only.
Fraternities interested in having you as a member will invite you to a Preference Dinner. Attendance is by invitation only and dinners will be held at various locations. Dress nicely in a shirt and tie (blazer optional).

"All Sorority Open House"
4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 1st, Morgan University Center, rooms 303-305
All sororities at Austin Peay are sponsoring an open house for anyone who would like to visit the sororities and the recruitment counselors to get more information about them and recruitment.
“Meet Your Sigma Rho Chi” Night ...(mandatory)
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8 in Morgan University Center, Ballroom B
Attire: casual/jeans
Your Sigma Rho Chi is a sorority member who has been chosen to disaffiliate with her chapter and serve as a counselor to potential new members during the recruitment process. She will be your mentor and guide, answering questions before, during and after recruitment. In addition to meeting your Sigma Rho Chi, this two-hour event includes a “do and don’t” fashion show, review of the week’s events, discussion of proper recruitment behavior and a question-and-answer session.
Values Night
4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, UC 3rd floor
Attire: Recruitment t-shirt, khakis or black pants and comfortable shoes. Do not wear sneakers, flip-flops or jeans.
During Values Night, you will learn about each organization’s values, philanthropies, sisterhood and more. Chapters may show videos about their community service programs and/or ask you to take part in a little service project. This will be your first opportunity to speak with sisters about the chapter.
Theme Night
4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, UC 3rd floor
Attire: Business casual
You must be invited to attend Theme Night parties. During the party/parties you attend, you’ll learn what it means to be a sister in the respective chapter and watch a short skit that illustrates the bonds of sisterhood. This is another opportunity to speak with sisters.
Preference Night and Bid Card Signing
4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11, UC 3rd floor
Attire: cocktail/Sunday best
You must be invited to attend Preference parties. You may attend up to two parties. The last round of recruitment, Preference Night is a sentimental ceremony during which active members demonstrate their bonds of sisterhood and the meaning of their sorority. You will be included in the ceremony and should use this night to decide which sorority makes you feel most comfortable.
After you attend your last Preference ceremony, you will go immediately to sign your bid card. This is a personal decision that only you can make. You should not discuss your choices with anyone prior to filling out your card.
Bid Day
Saturday, Sept. 12, UC 3rd floor
Attire: casual/jeans
Once you receive your bid and participate in a Panhellenic ceremony, you’ll head to your sorority house for a full day of fun activities! Your chapter will provide you with a bid day t-shirt.
