Fred Cusick Charlie Jacobs of the Bruins called today to invite our family to attend this Saturday's game. They will be naming the Bruins home TV broadcast booth the "Fred Cusick Broadcast Booth" and installing a silver microphone. We know our father would be honored by this.

Fred Cusick Our family wants to thank everyone for their remembrances of our husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle and grandfather. We have read all the comments and we really appreciate how many of them captured the traits we loved about him, like his kindness, intelligence, generosity and love for his work, though it never felt like work to him. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. The Cusick/Mullin Family

Fred Cusick It is with deep sadness that we want you to know that our wonderful father, Fred Cusick, passed away this morning in his sleep, at home. He was almost 91. He truly enjoyed having "fans" on facebook and was looking forward to the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame ceremony tomorrow. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. The Cusick Family

Fred Cusick The hockey season is fast approaching. Goaltender Tim Thomas is one of the keys to this year for the Bruins. I'm looking forward to watching his play.

Fred Cusick Each year Dom DiMaggio hosted a Celebrity Golf Tournament at his home course, Kittansett. As a guest, I remember that it was truly a first class event every year.

Fred Cusick This series with Carolina is now down to the mindset of the teams. The Bruins have to approach Games 6 and 7 with their regular season attitude. Simply put... they are better than Carolina, as their regular season 4 and 0 record proves.

Fred Cusick Johnny Bower was drafted at age 34 and he played until he was 42. Thomas who is around 35 now with a new four year contact should be able to emulate Bower and play through the contract and maybe more.
