Freeport Public Library The library's Tween Book Club will meet this Thursday at 5:30 PM. Children in grades 5-8 are invited to discuss Mary Amato's "The Naked Mole-Rat Letters" and enjoy snacks related to the book.

Freeport Public Library Celebrate Teen Read Week, TODAY 12:30 - 4 :30 p.m. In honor of this year's Teen Read Week theme, "Read Beyond Reality," the afternoon's activities will include a 2 p.m. showing of the just-released-on-DVD movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Video games will also be played, and refreshments served. Bring your fr...iends, and come enjoy a day beyond reality. This program is for ages 13 - 19.
