Friends Of Baby Seelye Everyone had a great Christmas and Jasmin really liked the toy that her mom and dad bought her for Christmas. The only thing that would have made it any better is if Jasmin could have been home but that may happen as soon as Monday or Tuesday :)
Friends Of Baby Seelye Jasmin and her Mom and dad want to wish you all a Merry Christmas... They are all very thankful for the love and support you have shown and continue to show them and that they get to be close to home for the holidays!
Friends Of Baby Seelye Good news, we just found out that Paula and Jasmin are now enroute to the Saint John Regional Hospital by ambulance so sometime later today they'll be up there and all settled in :) It's awesome news that they can be an hour away from home instead of 5 hours drive :)
Friends Of Baby Seelye Jasmin is doing good... she's eating and growing. Jasmin will be on medicine for the infection until December 27th. We can't wait for them to get back home :)
Friends Of Baby Seelye Jasmin is having another main line I.V. put in today so Jasmin has been moved from the same room as her mom until she's able to have the I.V. taken out again. Braden had 2 come home today 2 go back 2 work and Paula can hardly wait til the doctors say that Jasmin is able to come home.... It's certainly been a long 3 mon...ths for them. Friends Of Baby Seelye I was speaking to Jasmins Nana a little while ago. Jasmin has been moved to the same room as her mom and dad so that they can start looking after her alot more. Braden was telling Jasmin's Nana that Jasmin has Jaundice, but unfortunately it's the type of Jaundice you get from taking medications and lipids. The doctors ...have done blood work to see if it has affected her liver and we should have the results soon.
Friends Of Baby Seelye I was just talking to Braden. Jasmin has jaundice that has been caused by medication she is on. The doctors are doing tests to determine if it has damaged her liver. She is growing and gaining weight. She will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and now weighs 7 lbs 10 ozs.
Friends Of Baby Seelye Jasmin has an infection.. the doctors aren't sure yet but it may be in the main line I.V. despite Jasmin having an infection and not feeling well she is now eating really well and is gaining weight which are both good signs. She is certainly a little fighter :) Hopefully everyone will be back in Saint John before too long http://bit.ly/3yiN8J
Friends Of Baby Seelye Jasmin is not doing well today. It seems Jasmin may have another infection & all feedings by mouth have been stopped until the doctors get the problem under control. The nurses took some blood 2 determine the type of infection Jasmin has and we will know the results tomorrow. Jasmin is having another blood transfusion.... We all hope that everything starts going better for Jasmin again soon :) http://bit.ly/3yiN8J
