Among the fifty one exhibitors at the fair Tara Munro (pictured) who runs Ooh La La Vintage in Paris will be returning to London after the birth of her little boy with a wonderful collection of vintage Parisian haute c......outure. For example - Alan Bradbury from Bordeaux will be bringing his French haberdashery s......hop to Chelsea at the Frock Me at Home show at the Chelsea Town Hall on Sunday 7th June. He fills the whole of the stage with the largest collection of antique French lace, trimming, piping, ribbons, buttons and textiles that can be found in London!
Interior designers, vintage fashion dealers, theatrical costumiers and soft furnishing designers spend hours rooting through hundreds of little boxes of threads, linens, tapes and fabrics that just can't be found anywhere else this side of the English Channel.
