Frontier Natural Products Co-op Improving the quality of life in communities that produce our products is a key goal of our Well Earth® sourcing program. One example of this goal in action can be found in south-central India.

Our Well Earth® certified supplier is closely associated with Akshaya Patra, a charitable foundation that provides a meal every school day to almost a million children in India. For many, it is their only nutritious meal of the day. As a result of this program, school dropout rates have plummeted to almost zero.

In 2008, Frontier™ CEO Tony Bedard visited the region and presented Akshaya Patra with a check for $10,000 on behalf of Frontier™. This donation will provide a meal to nearly 350 children every school day for a year. This year, we attended the dedication ceremony of an even bigger donation. Through the Frontier Foundation™, we donated a delivery truck which will deliver meals to more than 2000 children daily at schools in remote areas.
