THANK YOU SO MUCH! My place on the Leader Board is all thanks to you – I cannot believe the support that I have in this competition and I am ever so grateful to you ALL! I know that some of you have voted up to 25 times – wow!! Thank you muchly!
I am STILL 2nd on the Leader Board, which means that at on this day, the 18th May, I currently have a spot in the National Final, BUT the voting only closes on Wednesday 27th May, so I NEED TO STAY IN THE TOP 2. Number 1 would be great!

National Vote
Acts in this year’s Live and Unsigned Area Finals have been given one last opportunity to make the National Grand Final. Acts who just missed securing a place in the National Finals have been thrown a ‘Wildcard’ in the form of a national public vote. There are four places across the country up for grabs and just over two weeks for acts to make it into the National Final. For the acts who appeared in the Area Finals on the 2nd and 3rd of May, there will be two National Grand Final places available and for those who appear in Area Finals on the 10th – 17th of May there will also be two National Final places on offer. Each act has been allocated a specific code (see below) and the public will now be able to vote via a text, for the act they believe should go on to grab one of those last National Final spots.
Voting is now live for acts listed below. The voting will end midday on the Wednesday two weeks after that particular Area Final. A leader board of the top ranked acts will appear on this website for the public to view and vote on who they believe should be granted a place in the National Grand Final. A leader board after the first week will also indicate in red who is currently placed in the top two positions to progress to the National Grand Final. The voting will be updated every 2 working days on this website. The last update will be made 24 hours before the voting lines close.
If acts make the National Grand Final, it will give them a share of all of the event’s publicity, the opportunity to perform in front of record label A&R from the music industry and the chance to be crowned the UK’s best “Live & Unsigned act of 2009”. With a recording contract at stake, this represents an opportunity to compete against the best unsigned acts from around the UK and fight another day... in previous years, Wildcard winners have gone on to win the National Grand Final. Check out the acts now and vote for who you want to progress to the National Grand Final;

"Live and Unsigned is the UK’s national music competition for unsigned acts to compete live. With over 10,000 registrations for the second year running, it is the biggest music talent search for original acts in the UK.
