Gail Eastman Oct. 24 - I joined Anaheim City Councilman, Harry Sidhu, and Anaheim Chamber of Commerce and company representatives at the ribbon cutting for Vitality Gourmet. The company, which provides an extensive line of fresh, organic meals for the entire family along with nutritional consultation services and products, moved i...ts corporate headquarters to Anaheim into an expanded 4,000 square foot state of the art facility. As Anaheim City Councilwoman, I will focus on bringing new businesses to Anaheim to keep the economy strong.
Gail Eastman Oct. 22 and 23 - I participated in two forums with many of my fellow city council candidates – one at Canyon High School and the other for the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. Many of the questions focused on the future of the economy in Anaheim. I shared the importance of protecting and growing business in Anaheim to cr...eate jobs and provide funding for vital city services. I also voiced my commitment to attracting new businesses and improving the quality of life for Anaheim residents. As co-chairwoman of SOAR (Save Our Anaheim Resort), I worked to protect the Anaheim Resort District -- Anaheim's largest economic engine and creator of jobs.
Gail Eastman Oct. 19 - My family and I joined thousands of walkers at the Disneyland Resort to support CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County). The walk teams raised over $1 million to support this worthy cause. CHOC is a non-profit hospital who will not turn any family away, regardless of their insurance coverage. We had a ...great time walking over four miles through Disneyland park, Disney's California Adventure and Downtown Disney.
Gail Eastman Oct. 6 - I participated in the "Gift of History" event hosted bythe City of Anaheim, where 5,000 third graders gathered at the Anaheim Convention Center and all received backpacks containing copies the book I authored, Anna's Home By the River – made possible by generous donations from members of our community. i was ...joined at the event by Fire Chief, Roger Smith, Anaheim Police Chief, John Welter, Anaheim Mayor, Curt Pringle and State Senator, Lou Correa.
