We are making fleece blankets to donate to Children's Home Society of Florida. These blankets will be distributed to children in foster care who have very few personal belongings. Hopefully the blankets will make the children feel a sense of security as well as keeping them warm in the winter.
On Tuesday, November 10th ...at 9pm we will be making the blankets.There is no school on Wednesday! The blankets are easy to make and there is no sewing and very little skill involved. The supplies will be provided and there will be a movie and snacks!
This project is a fun way to bring a smile to children's faces in the Gainesville community. Hope to see you there!

Hillel at the University of Florida Friday night services are back! Services start at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 8:30 p.m. Make sure to check out the learners service this week--we'll be discussing the different branches of Judaism and how the worship practices vary by denomination.

Come support local hunger organizations! We bake challah at Hillel and we go on campus asking for donations for the challot. The best part? All the funds go directly to hunger organizations throughout Gainesville!

Come join the best talent of Gainesville live on one stage at the Hillel on University Avenue. All singers, songwriters, musicians, poets, artists and comics are welcome... to perform for a welcoming, lively audience. Doors open at 8:15 p.m. Free desserts and refreshments will be provided!
Open Mic Night series have previously showcased amazing artists Superfish, A to Z, Rubber Tramps, Stevie D and the No-Shows, For He who Hung the Moon, and Boss Lady & the Company.
