The housing market never slumped here. It only slowed down. I own a few rentals and the value of all of them is still up; however, the housing market here in the Texas panhandle does not fluctuate like larger cities do.

Becky Murphy Schmidt I took the Crown Financial workshop years ago. I helped me tremendously.
Last year I was truly blessed financially. I was able to take a workshop for educational aides to give me the opportunity to get a better job. It hasn't happened yet, but I am trusting that it will soon. In the meantime I'm praying that I will get through the summer until I go back to work in the fall.
The Lord blessed me last year, but I'm not sure I will make it. I was able to get my credit card paid off, but right now I have a loan to pay off. I'm also hoping that my car will pass inspection in the fall without having to have any work done on it. If so, I will be looking to buy another car. Which means I will have to have a better job in order to afford it. I have been real faithful with my tithing. It does make a difference.

Lisa, you are not alone. Many, many people are walking in the same shoes. So happy to hear of your trust. The Lord knows the plans He has for you. Have an open heart and a willingness to follow Him.

Katy I love Crown Ministries and have been a big fan for years. Thank you Crown. Just recently our bank account was broken into "if you will" and found out that someone spent $1400.00 on our account. Our account is now frozen while we go thru the fraud procedures. However, I am blessed to have a great friend who is also an attorney and he gave us a great tip. Our devit card also has Visa charge options and our attorney friend said to go to the bank after the fraud stuff has been delt with and to close the account. Then to open a new account with the "charge" option taken off and to have only the "debit" option. This way if anyone tries to use your debit only card they will have to have a PIN to make charges from the account. This makes it more difficult to steal against your account. You will be notified much quicker also if there is any fraud against your card. I hope this helps others who read this. Thanks and be safe.
