This Holiday season give the gift of music! The Arts Council presents Celtic Crossroads. *Celtic Crossroads presents Irish music like never before, set to do to Irish music what Riverdance has done to Irish dance.The name Celtic Crossroads originates from a time in Ireland when neighbouring communities met at the cross...roads between towns and villages to socialise – long before the pub tradition began.The inventive arrangements and bass-driven grooves are steering Irish acoustic music into surprising new territory. On its first American visit, word-of mouth alone led to a sell out tour. The show itself, incorporating seven world-class musicians, playing over twenty instruments on stage, is a fantastic spectacle. From start to finish you are captivated by a wonderful fusion of musical genres in the Irish music family, such as eastern European Gypsy, north American Bluegrass, world Classical and Jazz, and the various forms of Celtic music from around Europe and the rest of the world.(*taken from celtic crossroads website). The Arts Council The Arts Council On August 6th The Arts Council/Smithgall Arts Center presents Movies on the Green featuring Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian. Admission is FREE! Food will be sold through Elmo's Italian Kitchen. Guest feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Gates open at 7:00 and the show starts betwe...en 9:15-9:30. This will be a great event so bring your friends, family, and children!
The Arts Council will present the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra this Friday July 24 at 8:00 PM at the Smithgall Arts Center. Tickets are $25 per person or a table for 8 for $240. Call 770-534-2787 to order your tickets! (Rain Date: July 26)

of the Smithgall Arts Center. With jazz playing in the background, friends dancing to the music, and an intimate atmosphere, what could be better?
